Protein dynamics help explain protein behavior

Updated: Jan 16, 2020

by Jeni Lauer

In this video, Jeni Lauer describes a technique that she uses to observe proteins. Unlike traditional structural biology techniques, this approach allows her to understand protein dynamics and behavior. The technique is called hydrogen exchange mass spectrometry.

Jeni is a postdoc in Marino Zerial's group at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany.
